Demand to stop NBA on jersey ads

Recently, the NBA has approved on jersey ads for NBA teams. I feel as though it taints the look of the jersey. As we can see on most major soccer teams, the ads overly dominate the jersey and takes away from the actual image of the team. Something I am ashamed of admitting is that I know very little about soccer and originally thought Real Madrid was called Fly Emirates. As of now, the ads for basketball jerseys are to be a 2x2 inch patch however, over time I foresee them becoming bigger and bigger to the point where the sponsor patch will be bigger than the actual team logo. I have seen many parody pictures of what overbearing ads would look like and it may just become reality.
