ANIMAL RESCUE ROBBED AND FACING FORECLOSURE DUE TO BANKS INDIFFERENCE

K9 Sear and Rescue of Lee County FL had their account information stolen.

Phoney checks were printed with fake names of non-existent bank, and signatory -- yet Fifth Third Bank continued to honor them.  Even after the account was over drawn!  They then used an overdraft credit account to pay themselves!  This was an account that was in good standing and had NEVER before used this overdraft protection.  They owe the consumer, in this case, a non-profit organization who rescues and trains search and rescue dogs and rehomes senior animals more protection than well, if you can get the money back on your own from the merchants, that's the best we can do.  These were OBVIOUSLY fraudulent items and yet they say they have no recourse but to pay them!  Now the rescue's shelter is in foreclosure!  STOP THE FORECLOSURE AND DO THE RIGHT THING!  GIVE BANK THE MONEY YOU SO CALLOUSLY TOOK.  YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
