SAVE THE DOVES IN ILLINOIS

Illinois Prevent Violence license plate features a peace loving dove. The money is used for preventing violence. How can Illinois shoot the beautiful peace loving doves for sport. How sporting to kill a bird that mates for life and does not cause damage or problems for anyone. Illinois needs to go back to saving the doves.

The Dove, symbol of peace, symbol of romantic love, a magnificent and delicate beauty. It is a bird that fills our senses with grace.As such a peaceful and breathtaking creature, highly refined, magnificent bird, it is astounding to find that it is a hunted bird.

The Mourning Dove is monogamous and forms strong pair bonds. Doves are devoted parents.

It is time for Illinois to ban Dove Hunting!
