Save Dr. Noble's Home!

Help our community to keep this 100+-year-old house at 211 East Branch Street intact. In November, the Arroyo Grande City Council will consider a permit to add a 3000 square-foot addition to this 1300 square-foot home, built about 1903. It was, for many years, the home of Dr. Noble, Arroyo Grande's dentist and one of our first city councilmen, later of the pioneer Quaresma family. The plan would include razing part of the home to accommodate the addition, an art gallery and wine-tasting room. The galllery and tasting room would be welcome but the home is a significant architectural and historic landmark. Please sign the petition, which calls for a smaller addition that honors the integrity of this Folk Victorian home.
