THERE HAVE BEEN VARIOUS CASES OF INTERNET SUICIDES THAT WERE INSTIGATED BY CYBERBULLING/HARRASSMENT AND SLANDERING OVER THE WORLD WIDE WEB. IN LIGHT OF THE VARIOUS EPISODES OF INTERNET CYBERBULLYING/ HARRASSMENT AND NOW ASSISTED SUICIDES, I, CYNTHIA JOHNSON AM REQUESTING HELP WITH A PROBLEM ON THE WEBSITE KNOWN AS BLACK PLANET.COM WHO IS OWNED BY RADIO ONE AND IS AWARE OF THE CYBERBULLYING/HARRASSMENT AND CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT. THERE IS ONE GROUP OWNER ON THIS SITE AND THE GROUPS NAME IS MY INTELLECTUAL MIND AND THE OWNER IS ROSKO, WHO PUBLICLY HUMILIATED ME AND SAT BACK AND SENT WOMEN AND MEN CONSTANTLY TO ATTACK ME IN EVERY GROUP THAT I WAS IN ON THIS SITE. HIS RATIONALE WAS "WE WERE TRYING TO CHASE HER OFF OF THE SITE BECAUSE OF THE NAME OF HER GROUP". BUT HIS COHORTS TOOK IT A STEP FARTHER THIS TIME AND WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO COMMIT SUICIDE TWO EVENINGS AGO. I WENT ONTO THIS WEBSITE AFTER BEING ASSAULTED BY THE POLICE AND HAD TO LEAVE HOME THEREFORE THIS WAS MY ONLY AVENUE OF CONNECTION TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AND I WANTED TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING BECAUSE I AM ALL ALONE HERE. BECAUSE OF THE POLICE ABUSE I SUFFER WITH POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER AND I ACTUALLY ENTERTAINED THE IDEA OF DOING SO AND i DON'T KNOW WHAT STOPPED ME BECAUSE LORD KNOWS I AM TIRED OF LIVING LIKE THIS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHERE I AM. Dear Sirs,
Please regulate the behaviors of social websites such as BlackPlanet.com more closely because there is a history of cyberbullying/harrassment and now they've even attempted to have her kill herself. They were continuously prompting her to do so and saying she wasn't doing it fast enough. In light of the various incidents of cyberbullying and assissted suicides in cyberspace such as Megan Meiers and the young man who did so, there needs to be more regulation and stricter monitoring. Radio One, owner of BlackPlanet.com is aware of the cyberbullying and harrassment and the petitioner has copies of thread posts of the harrassment and e-mails between the petitioner and the staff as documentation.
The petitioner suffers from post traumatic stress disorder due to an assault by the Newark Police Department and had to leave her home due to a coercive and intimidating call from the offending officers so she is all alone.
Please help!
