Police were called out to my home during a heated argument outside between my husband and I, where he tugged on my pony tail not in an attempt to harm me. Neither of the children were present at the time of the argument. Report was made, no injuries occurred, no arrests were made, and no charges were pressed.

CPS workers arrived at home informing us there was a report made in regards to a domestic violence incident taking place in the home on Feb. 15th. We both denied the allegations of "domestic violence" occurring in the home and we were informed that a case would not be opened concerning this matter. We offered the social worker, "Mrs. S", to come in and see our children so that she may see they were healthy, happy, and well cared for. She refused to meet or look at the children and stated "No maybe another time."

Was informed by children that they were visited at school by "Mrs. S" and questioned about the incident on Feb. 15th (even though both children were not even present for the incident on Feb. 15th) and about our home environment.
March 24, 2009 @ 7:15 a.m.
CPS social worker, "Mrs. S" came to my residence escorted by police with a court order to take my 6 yr. old daughter into protective custody. Went to school of my 12 yr. old daughter and took her from school into custody. They never notified me that my oldest daughter was removed from school neither in person nor by phone. I was informed the next day that they took her and that I was not entitled to be informed in regards to her being detained because I did not have "legal" custody of her even though she had been living in my home for the past year and a half. I called the next afternoon spoke to social worker, "Mrs. P", requested a call from my daughters, she said she would arrange it for that evening. I also requested that my daughters not miss any school because of their removal as their education was important to me, she said that they would remain in school. She was suppose to contact me that evening for a phone conversation with my daughters but she never did.

Attended court hearing in regards to the removal of children and requested my documents (district attorney's letter, declaration of facts, notarized witness letters) be submitted to the judge and filed as part of the case. Appointed attorney denied my request to have documents of proof submitted to the judge or filed with the case. In fact she stated whatever documents you have are irrelevant to this hearing and would not even look at the documents I attempted to show her on my behalf. Order was made by judge that my daughters not be returned home at this time and that they be placed in foster care.

Went to school in person to find out if my daughters were in school. I was informed by the secretaries at the schools that they were not in school for that day and missed the two days prior as well.

Put in a request to have police report for incident on Feb. 15th corrected to state what really happened on Feb. 15th since my statement in the police report conflicted with what I had really told the officer that day and also had untrue statements by reporting officer stating that I had sustained an injury to the back of my neck that day when I really had absolutely no injuries. Received a formal letter from District Attorney's office informing me that the report that was filed on Feb. 16 was rejected and dropped on March 9 due to lack of evidence and that a crime was never committed.

Discovered that my daughter's social worker, "Mrs. R", made the authorization to go ahead and send my 6 YR. OLD DAUGHTER to the counseling center for her weekly counseling session in a taxi
BY HERSELF without any adult supervision!
This is just a very very small taste of the games that have been played by Sacramento CPS social workers. Please help me in the fight to have my little girl returned home to me by signing my petition.

FAMILIES BECOME INNOCENT VICTIMS OF A CORRUPT SACRAMENTO CPS
Please be aware, your family could be the next family torn apart by the corruption and incompetence of Sacramento Child Protective Services (CPS). No one is safe. Employees of CPS receive Federal Funding for every child that is taken into custody. Their very existence depends of taking vast numbers of children into custody every month. In addition, once those children are successfully adopted out, the social worker receives a financial BONUS. If they lose adoptable children, they lose those bonuses.
On March 25, 2009, my daughter was taken away by Child Protective Services because someone witnessed my husband tug on my ponytail and CPS labeled that action DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. In order to justify keeping my daughter in custody, Sacramento CPS have falsified and withheld evidence from the courts. I have submitted multiple forms of proof that I am innocent of all charges (Including an official letter from the Sacramento District Attorney%u2019s Office stating that %u201Cthere is no case%u201D) but the court has chosen to ignore MY evidence. The attorneys that are appointed to represent me are paid by Sacramento County so they could care less if my constitutional rights are violated. Even though the Public Defender%u2019s representation is predictably incompetent, they still receive their paychecks.
The Sacramento CPS System has been under investigation for the past year for matters of in propriety and my daughter and I are now additional victims to be added to their vast agenda of corruption and incompetence.
I desperately need the help of the public to bring my daughter Madison home.
