Help save the outdoor shelter at Crich Pre-School

Prince's Trust students who faced barriers to employment volunteered to fund and construct an outdoor shelter at Crich Pre-School as part of their development. All seemingly agreed beforehand, the group spent over £1100 (some raised and the rest in donated materials) and 3 days completing the project.

The shelter has been there approx. 6 months and the Glebe Management Committee "believe" the shelter to be in breach of a term on the lease of the land. However, it has not been made clear what the term is as the committee refuse to answer questions from the community.

They plan to remove the shelter. Depriving the children of Crich Pre-School and therefore restricting their opportunity to play and learn outdoors. This would not only be a shame for the children of the community the Glebe Management Committee represent, who would have restricted learning opportunities, but also would have meant the young people who erected the shelter wasted their time and the funds given to them as charitable donations.

I propose the Glebe Management Committee work with the landowners to have the lease amended (if required) to allow the shelter to remain in place and answer the questions put to them by the community.
