Remove Officers Cooley, Nickelson and Tennegkeit from the Oroville Police Department

On April 28, 2014 Officers Cooley, Nickeson and Tennegkeit responded to a welfare check call at the Sunset Motel in Oroville Ca. for Victor Coleman. Victor's wife was concerned and had made the call to make sure her hsband was alright. Upon establishing Victor was calmed down and his wife was on her way the officers said they would wait OUTSIDE of Victor's room until she arrived. They did NOT do this. After assuring Lori Coleman her husband was ok and they would not enter, they did. They rammed his door open and opened fire on a man who was sitting peacefully on the floor. Each officer unloaded their weapon into a man who had just had a bad dream and needed his wife, who was on her way. He had not committed a crime there was NO reason for them to enter his room. A wife asking for a welfare check on her husband should NEVER lead to such an atrocious tragedy. These officers where returned to work two weeks after this senseless murder. These men should not be allowed to hide behind their badges to justify a cold blooded murder.
