Tell B.C. Government: Don't Kill Wolves!

The B.C. Government has recently released a new management plan for the wolf population.  However, animal conservatists say this will lead to slaughtering of wolves.

The wolf population in B.C. is said to be stable or growing; however, the government is interpreting this as a need to kill more wolves to control the population.  The actual number of wolves in B.C. is not known - an indirect method is used to estimate there are 8,500 wolves in B.C.  The actual population may be between 5,300 and 11,600.  Therefore, this plan is not based on an accurate account and is mistaken in believing the more wolves there are, the more need to be killed.

Tell the B.C. Government to investigate the health of the wolf population in B.C. and work to protect our animals.
