Off with the Queen's Head, the not so Royal Mail

The continued sell off, of public services and enterprises, is epitomised by the sell off of what remains of not so 'Royal' Mail. This has been for many, many decades a 'public enterprise' offering a 'service.'

In protest at the privatisation of publicly owned services and enterprises from council housing to the NHS, the word 'Royal' should be severed from 'Mail.' Further, the effigy of the reigning monarch's head should be removed from 'all' postage stamps.

It is not appropriate that these symbols of 'public service' as we are told the royal family is, should be tarnished with association with what will be a profit oriented business, not a public service.
