Petition Against Drinking District in Camden Arkansas

    Camden, Arkansas is proposing a bill for an Entertainment district in the downtown area of Camden, Arkansas. This bill will allow people to carry alcoholic beverages from the following restaurants: Postmaster's Grill, El Ranchito, Allen's, What's Cooking, proposed brewery, proposed pizza place. This entertainment ordinance does not have any actual entertainment criteria to it other than carrying alcoholic beverages outside of restaurants.

    I am concerned for the safety of drivers around Camden during the hours of this proposed ordinance. This ordinance would be in effect during Friday and Saturday evenings, city festivals, and First Friday events.
