Stop illegal animal shelter gas chambers

Many animal shelters in the State of Georgia use the horrifying gas chambers for euthanasia of abandoned companion animals and doing so illegally. They are claiming "grandfathering clauses" which they DO NOT qualify for. Even though  Governor Sonny Perdue and Tommy Irvin, the head of the Ga Dept of Agriculture, are aware of this, they continue to renew shelter licenses in violation of the 1990 Humane Euthanasia Act. This barbaric and torturous practice must be stopped immediately and laws for animal protection upheld.
