Why George? Because George Washington was a hemp farmer.

At the time the United States of America was founded, hemp was one of the leading agricultural crops. It had many uses and even the original Declaration of Independence was written on hemp paper. If George Washington were alive today he would be arrested and locked up in prison for growing hemp.
