Currently there is a loophole allowing 20kg of shark fins to be brought into E.U and U.k. shark finning is banned in E.U and U.K waters but the allowance for them to be brought in hasn’t. Sharks are a very important part of the ocean eco-system and needed to keep the ocean healthy an ocean with no sharks is not an healthy ocean.The conservative number of sharks we lose is 100 million a year but in fact it’s nearer 270 million.sharks are been killed at a rate higher than they can re-populate. We need to save these iconic creatures that have been here a lot longer than humans.
