Justice for Jess

Jess was a nervous Boxer recently taken into Battersea Cats & Dogs home as a stray. Battersea made the decision to put Jess to sleep because she 'wouldn't look people in the eye' and 'looked at people in a funny way which made people uncomfortable', despite an experienced dedicated Boxer Breed rescue offering to take her on and re-home her with experienced owners able to dedicate the time and effort necessary to rehabilitate her and build her trust and confidence. Jess was in good health and not a threat to anybody she was simply scared. We want the staff responsible for authorizing the murder of this beautiful dog to be answerable for their crime and BCDH reassurance that this injustice will not happen again.
**Please note**
we are aware of the fantastic work BDCH do and of the fantastic hands on staff there. This is not an attack on BCDH as an organization but on the middle management staff members immediately involved in unfairly and unnecessarily taking Jess life
