Help End Canada's Baby-Seal Slaughter

Every year, the Canadian government allows sealers to shoot and smash in the heads of thousands of baby seals for their soft fur. As a result of international outrage, all major markets have dried up and the commercial slaughter is now a shadow of what it used to be. The U.S., the European Union, and Russia have all banned seal-fur imports, and Canadian officials admitted that China has not panned out as a market despite years of effort. The reason the Canadian government continues to defend and pour money into this dying industry is because political parties crave the seal region's swing seats in Parliament.

The end of this industry is in sight, but seals still need you! We're at a tipping point in this campaign, and now is the time to call on Canadian officials to end the seal slaughter and help transition sealers into other industries.
