Stop the mountain hare cull

The Royal Horticultural Society published the following in the November Issue of The Garden:
"Populations of mountain hares in eastern Scotland in 2017 were just one percent of the total in 1954. Unregulated culling of up to 38,000 hares a year on grouse moors may be largely to blame." Action is needed to curb landowners, gamekeepers and the shoots from decimating a species for the enjoyment and financial gain of the few. Natural England needs to step in to halt this practice now.
