Glitter is Not Bioterrorism!

Tell Oklahoma police that glitter does not constitute a terrorist threat.

Police recently arrested two environmental protestors for unfurling signs covered in glitter. While their fellow protestors were charged with trespassing, the two who hung the signs were charged with staging a fake bioterrorism attack.

In Oklahoma, conviction for a terrorist hoax can carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years!

It's obvious that 10 years of jail time for unfurling glitter banners is ridiculous. Tell Oklahoma police that glitter does not constitute fake bioterrorism and keep these protestors from an unduly harsh punishment.

Governor Fallin,

We the undersigned ask that not prosecute the environmental protestors for bioterrorism. Oklahoma Police recently arrested two environmental protestors for unfurling signs covered in glitter. While their fellow protestors were charged with trespassing, the two who hung the signs were charged with staging a fake bioterrorism attack.

In your state, conviction for a terrorist hoax can carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years!

It's obvious that 10 years of jail time for unfurling glitter banners is ridiculous. Please understand glitter does not constitute fake bioterrorism and keep these protestors from an unduly harsh punishment.
