Rent Control in Baltimore City

With the minimum wage slowly increasing and rent rising above those standards it is imperative that our local government put something in place that everyone should be able to afford acquaint housing. Many landlorda are asking for you to make three times the rent even for affordable housing for individuals and families that do not have housing vouchers. We vote for them to represent us and give us a voice at the table and this is an issue that should be addressed rather its election time or not. Housing should not be a burden just like health insurance should not but for some it is. Our homeless rate in the city is expanding and could be more if we don't find some way to make and keep housing as a neccessity and not a luxary.
