Dogs at Dineen

It is with great frustration the Students at Syracuse College of Law received an emailing banning all animals other than for service. Up to this point, students have enjoyed the dog-friendly environment to help relieve the stressors of law school. This decision was extreme and out of the blue. This decision impacts both faculty/staff as well as all students. The school should be willing to hold a forum open to all to discuss and develop a compromising policy. Responsible pet owners are willing to dialogue and understand the need for limitations to preserve the school and respect for those who do not prefer dogs.

The signatures in support of this petition want the opportunity to hold a forum to discuss how we can allow dogs back in Dinneen Hall.
