Demand that Levi Strauss stop using animal hides to brand their products

For over a century, Levi Strauss, the company that manufactures the world's most iconic jeans, has been branding their products with a leather patch on the waistband. We submit that the use of this device is both unnecessary and unnecessarily cruel to animals. Levi's trademark chevron stitched back pocket design and their red 'Levi's' patch, also attached to the back pocket, are visible enough and establish the Levi's brand more than sufficiently well. Using the hide of an animal that was abused and cruelly slaughtered is not crucial to Levi's marketing. We demand that Levi Strauss & Co cease and desist this horribly inhumane practice.

Thank you to everyone who has signed my petition demanding that Levi Strauss & Co cease and desist branding their products with leather patches. While stopping this practice may seem like a small step in the battle for animal rights, because Levi's is so well known, a successful outcome will make a huge impact. Can you please go the extra mile and share the petition with your friends and followers on Facebook? Thank you and all the best.
