Women on Security Team

William Jessup University needs to have women on their security staff in order to strengthen their team, while also having more eyes and observers on campus. Many dangerous situation have gone unnoticed and/or have not been taken seriously. We believe that it is pertinent that more people, especially women are added to the security program. Women offer and emotional aspect that men may not always have. Women tend to be more observant to body language. Women on staff would bring in more females who feel unsafe; having them step forward to someone whom they feel a connection with. Many students feel that their needs have not been taken seriously enough and do not feel that the security system on the William Jessup campus is at a standard that other colleges provide. Both men and women on campus have voiced their concerns about the lack of safety that this campus offers. We must come together to make a change now.
