Denmark - Reverse Your Burqa and Niqab Ban!

Denmark has passed a controversial law banning the niqab and the burqa, religious garments that cover a woman's face.

The law comes into force on the 1st of August 2018 and has been judged by many as unnecessary and against basic human rights.

Although some may say that this law aims to reduce potential situations of danger and prompt women's independence, a blanket ban can only increase the sense of segregation and a real criminalisation of women, who should be free to choose how to dress and what to wear in a modern, 21st century first world country like Denmark.
