Facebook PLEASE stop limiting friend requests if everyone is ok with it

We want Facebook to listen to its members.  The illustrious "pink slip" warning that many members of Facebook are continuing to receive for either trying to request new friends (which is what Facebook is all about: networking) or either replying to messages already received or sending out new ones is wrong.  Facebook has nothing in its terms of service (TOS) about how many friend requests on a daily basis is considered a violation of their TOS or sending so many messages per day.  There are too many of us who either have recieved this warning or have actually had their account disabled for doing something that EVERYONE else is doing on Facebook.

There are many of us who try to add friends for the pluthera of games Facebook has from its many sponsors.  The problem with these games,  while they are fun and sometimes adicting, is that in order to truly be successful you need a huge amount of friends.  This is where in lies the problem.  People are trying to add friends for the games but then they get pink slipped for doing so and/or has their account disabled.

This petition is simply to alert Facebook to the frustration of many of their members.  We are asking Facebook to take a look at what many of us consider to be a serious issue and make a change.  One way could be to simply add a setting under each individual's profile that limits the amount of friend requests that person recieves.  Or have a way to have an individual reported to Facebook by its members if the person does seem to be doing something wrong.  But please do not punish the rest of us on Facebook for what a few people are either doing wrong or do not want to be apart of.

Our hope is you will listen to you members and see we are serious by all those who sign this petition.

Thank you.
