Ask President Obama to have former Monsanto executive step down

Michael R. Porter, former Vice President for Public Policy at Monsanto from 1998 to 2001, has been appointed by President Obama as advisor to the FDA!  This is the defender of genetically modified food and safety of the Gulf food supply.  He has been instrumental in introducing the GM seeds to Africa.  The news stories of the destruction wrought by Monsanto are too numerous to review here but an on-line search will show how pervasive the problem is.  Porter is still working in Monsanto's interest to the detriment of our country and the entire world.
Dear President Obama,
In light of the entire world's great concern for the effects of genetically modified foods on people, the environment and the future, we respecffully ask that you relieve Mr. Michael Porter of his duties as advisor to the FDA.  As a person dedicated to the advancement of Monsanto, it seems counterproductive to such a man in trust of the public's interest.  Thank-you.
