Lift the Ban on Restraining Orders Against Minors

Restraining orders are a common way to get away from someone who is hurting you. However, sometimes this is not an option. There is a ban on restraining orders against minors. Why? I have talked to many people, and none of them can think of a single legitimate reason.
I know many people who are victims of harassment, and I myself am a victim. I am asking you, for the sake of teens everywhere, to sign this petition and help lift the ban.

We the undersigned are against this ban that is on restraining orders against minors. A seventeen year old can still abuse another minor, as can even other minors. Please see this for more examples.
We are all asking you politely but fiercely, please lift this ban. By doing so you will not only change lives, you could save some.
