On September 1, 1939, without a formal declaration of war Germany invaded Poland. Few weeks after Poland was attacked by the Soviet on September 17, 1939.
Persecution of the Jews and Poles started immediately after the Germans occupied Poland. In the first year and a half, the Germans confined themselves to stripping the Jews and Poles of their property and herding Jews into ghettoes and Poles into forced labor camps.
So this is a short story on what happened in Poland in 1939. Today we are in 2010 and we the United States of America the Democracy that each country should fallow? But we do act like whom? We do what? Because of our broken banking and broken law system we strip our own own citizens of their property, and care less where they go. How many thousands came home and found their stuff outside of their house? Stop to evictions, let the banks pay for their mistake. The act of eviction is inhumane, and barbaric behavior. The German Nazi's did the same, however to their "enemies". We are doing this to our own citizens. Please sign this petition and ask for CHANGE from our senators, congressmen/women. Let's not strip our own citizens of their right to have a secure place to live.
Finally, Let's stop deporting legal residents who in many cases are product of the American school system, most grew in the USA. Example; how can we deport a kid 24 years old, legal resident, for 2 possession of %u201Csmoking grass%u2019, while he moved here when he was 4? Again like the German Nazi's the Bush administration had a 400,000 per month quota, it didn%u2019t matter if you were 25 and lived here 20 years, it didn't matter if you were 80 and lived here 50 years. They were putting people on the plane and taken them to practically %u201Cforeign%u201D countries. Countries who%u2019s language some didn%u2019t know and knew little abut their culture. The worse of all is that families are being separated, kids will be growing up without fathers or mothers. How is that helping our economy? I ask is this the democracy we want to live in?
