Stop Kentucky's Anti-Abortion Bills

Two newly proposed bills in the Kentucky Senate would place more restrictions on women seeking abortions.

One bill would require women to have ultrasounds before abortions. The other requires women to have face-to-face consultations with a health care provider at least 24 hours before having an abortion, during which they must be given printed materials showing the development of a fetus and providing information about alternatives to abortion.

Both measures seek to make it as difficult as possible for a woman to have an abortion. Act now to tell Kentucky legislators to reject both bills and to trust women to make their own choices.
