Fireworks have the potential to be extremely dangerous, causing injury and death. The use of fireworks must be restricted to professional pyrotechnicians to guarantee the safety of all people. The Swiss Police and lawmakers should stop the sale of all fireworks to the public. There are numerous accidents in Switzerland every year before, during, and after the national holiday, in which children, adults, and animals are severely injured and killed by fireworks. People have lost their hearing, fingers, hands,+ eyes, and have been killed by fireworks. Barns and other structures have burned down and animals have died.

LE ROSEY were involved in the detonation and cover up of an M-800, destroying the hearing of innocent persons on several occassions in the 1990's. LE ROSEY and the students attempted a cover up with threats of additional hospitalization. The SWISS POLICE must stop the sale of fireworks to all children and adults to prevent accidents, crimes, and terrorist attacks. Until then, the Swiss Police must make a presentation to the student body of schools, informing students that the detonation of fireworks to injure people is punishable by imprisonment
