Stop Whale Slaughter Now! Mother & Baby
Please help us stop the slaughtering of whales by signing this petition. For decades now, the Japanese Government have been slaughtering whales under the pretence of 'research'. In October 2009 they made an astonishing announcement that whales eat krill! I think this is something I learnt in primary school. After the deliberate ramming of an anti-whaling catamaran this month, which could have easily resulted in fatalities, it is clear the Japanese will stop at nothing. Please help us help these defenseless creatures. On average 1400-1500 whales are slaughtered every year, even those on the endangered list. Please act now.
We the undersigned, clearly state our disgust at the slaughter of whales, which has continued now for decades. The pretence of research is insulting, and whilst it may have once been a form of survival, it is now clearly wholsale slaughter with the use of explosives, high tech ships, radar, winches, and a myriad of other modern technologies that give this animal no chance at all.
We want this practice to stop immediately please.
