GOPs, Don't Deny Poor Women Reproductive Rights

Republicans are supposed to be all about giving states the rights to do as they please. But the latest GOP attack on women comes in the form of robbing states of their right to subsidize abortions for low-income women. 

It's already illegal to use federal funds to fund an abortion, but some states use their own discretionary funds to help out pregnant and desperate women who can not afford to have a child. HR 4160, floated by Indiana Representative Todd Rokita, would stop all that--making it illegal for states to help women as they see best.

If passed, HR 4160 could deny low-cost abortions to poverty-stricken women in seventeen states! Tell Congress to shoot down HR 4160!

We the undersigned are outraged over a bill (HR 4160) that would deprive states of their right to help poverty-stricken women who find themselves pregnant. This bill would only perpetuate the cycle of poverty by forcing women to have children they cannot afford to raise or educate. Stop the attacks on women and don't take away state rights!
