In Honor of Crime Scene the Bull, It's Time to Ban Bull Riding in Southern Australia

It's time to end the sport of bull riding in Southern Australia. That's what many are saying after a horrific video of a rodeo bull went viral in which the animal twisted then snapped its leg after it came down from a buck and then was left hobbling in pain.

The bull, named "Crime Scene," was put down shortly afterwards when vets determined there was nothing more they could do.

The bull's name is prophetic because the rodeo he was forced to participate in was the real scene of the crime. Rodeos are inherently barbaric and a practice that should no longer be tolerated in modern societies where animal rights are valued. Bulls aren't meant to be ridden and doing so exposes them to serious injuries, that can sometimes result in death. In fact, since the since the Professional Bull Riders Association of Australia was founded, no less than 3 bulls have had to be put down.

Is the death of any innocent animal really worth a few seconds of "entertainment."

Join the call to ask the government of South Australia to put an end to this cruel "sport."
