‘Demand an end to Bestiality in Malta.’

Yesterday and on September 2nd 2020, two cases of bestiality occurred. One was involving a sheep and the other a horse. Under Malta's current laws, a person cannot be charged for the act of having sex with an animal; they can only be charged if they injure the animal in the process. Bestiality was previously illegal in Malta until sodomy laws were abolished in 1973, removing any legal protections for animals being sodomised. Bestiality is animal abuse and we the undersigned request that the law be ammended.
