Students For Change: Meal Plan Massacre

We the students of Bridgewater State University would like to band together in hopes of accomplishing a more affordable plan. Specifically in terms of our food plans, not only are they too expensive but they terminate per semester allowing for left over dining dollars and meal swipes to terminate alongside. We can all agree, as well, that the quality of the food served could be far better as well for the prices we currently pay. We have come to an impasse between prices and quality and something must be done.
Together, commuters and non-commuters have agreed to form this petition as representation for our students and demand that our prices either lower or at the very least, our leftover meal swipes and dining dollars have the option to carry over into the following semester. With this we hope to eliminate the threat of expensive meal plans from overextending the pocket of the average student who already struggles with the debt of tuition and living conditions. We feel that if we band together and create a powerful voice to our school we may find a compromise that will benefit the average student as well as the school as a whole.
