Children on Pioneer Road NEED a Safe Crosswalk

The city's main streets have plenty of regulated crosswalks, except for Pioneer Road. It's the only main arterial road that does not have regulated crosswalks for pedestrians. The traffic on Pioneer Road is increasing, and the speed limit is often not adhered to. We shouldn't wait until a child is struck by a vehicle to address this problem. We therefore petition to have regulated crosswalks placed at reasonable intervals along Pioneer Road to help ensure the safety of pedestrians.
