Reduce BISD dress code policies

for the time i've been in Porter high school and schools in the past i've noticed each had dress code, which is totally normal and lawful. However, some of these restrictions such as hair color, torn jeans that are still covered but against code, piercings, ECT. has effected freedom of expression, and from me and a group of people observing, students are mentally effected as well. to further explain this, Students have been made self conscious and insecure due to the way dress code restricts how students wanna express themselves. i understand exposing clothing is inappropriate, and im not looking to change that one, but i do think hair color and fashion is restricted too much as does teachers and students i have spoken too and gotten info about. Me and many others wish to at least allow hair color of any kind and fashion to be allowed more at BISD campuses to allow students to be their most authentic selves.
