Protect our children from VIOLENT and GRAPHIC imagery!

My 6 year old Daughter and I were enjoying the 4th of July parade in Ashland, OR. like we do every year when she suddenly stopped and shouted, "Mommy is that a baby?!" She started to cry and I shielded her eyes as quickly as possible. These people were on the sidewalk holding signs of bloody, dead babies. They were protesting against abortion and thought these images were appropriate. I am a fierce defender of Freedom of Speech but think, like many states, it should not include the use of explicit, graphic or age sensitive images. My Daughter was devastated and crying and wanted to go straight home. I called the police to see if there was anything they could do but they said in the State of Oregon there wasn't. I do not care whether people are pro life or pro choice, either way children should not see images such as these. We need to tell congress and our state legislature to ammend the law to protect innocent eyes from seeing these damaging and terrifying images. Please join me in the fight to keep our children out of our politics. We MUST protect their innocence as long as possible. Thank you!
