Make it easier to become a living organ donor!

I am in the process of trying to be a living organ (kidney) donor, the paperwork process is going on two months, still haven't been sent anywhere for actual physical tests, how many people have died or their situation worsened in that amount of time, there has to be a better way, such as: if someone decides they would like to be a living donor, they should be able to go to any hospital, state that fact and let the testing and paperwork begin at the same time, people's lives are on the line, shouldn't processing living donors be more expedient! Please help to make life a little easier for those in need of an organ donation!
