Put Non-violent Criminals and Violent Criminals in Separate Prisons

Whereas, people who commit non-violent crimes and those who commit violent ones are usually placed in the same prisons,

and whereas the violent criminals often prey on the non-violent ones,

and whereas the violent criminals force the non-violent ones to become violent in order to survive in prison,

therefore, we the undersigned request that nonviolent offenders and violent criminals all be placed in separate prisons to protect the former from harm and keep them from committing violent crimes in the future.
