Do NOT let Gail Benoit continue to buy and sell dogs!

  • af: Tammy Baxter
  • mottagare: Judge Gregory Lenehan (provincial court judge in Nova Scotia)

Benoit was convicted of animal cruelty in 2009 for selling sick puppies and found to have sold as many as 30,000 dogs in the previous 13 years. She was also convicted of assaulting an SPCA officer – her third conviction for assaulting a peace officer – and resisting arrest.

The most recent charges were laid earlier this month after a New Brunswick woman said she hired Benoit to babysit her two boxers, Diamond and Bentley, but that Benoit then sold them. Diamond was found at a home in Bridgewater while her brother Bentley was located at a home in the Truro area.
