No Glen Alpine Annexation

Attempts are being made to annex Glen Alpine Subdivision into the City of Clinton.  These efforts are not from the City of Clinton but from within our subdivision.  We do not believe the City of Clinton can provide any services we do not already enjoy.  Why has no Homeowners Association meeting been called regarding this most important decision and place all the facts before the homeowners for discussion?

According to the City of Clinton your property tax cost would rise approximately one third above what you currently pay.  But what is not being told is that at any time Clinton City Council may raise that rate without your knowledge. Many people in our communtiy cannot afford this type of tax increase during these economics times.
