Obesity rates have been rising for years. This counrty is bcoming less healthy each year. In New York City, Mayor Bloomberg has proposed a law to limit the size of sugary drinks sold in the city. This minor limitation can go a long way in starting to combat obesity. There is a correlation between consumption of sugary beverages and obesity. If this law passes in New York than it can be an example for other cities in America and around the world. If this law is enforced it can go a ong way in creating a healthier society.
