To end poverty once the Aboriginal affairs and Northern Development Canada distributes the allocated membership funds that is held back from their First Nations as they do not live on-reserve because of lack of housing, education and employment including health supports. It is the fiduciary responsibility of Aboriginal Affairs to oversee the well-being of Status Members who live off-reserve. This funds should be made payable to each Status member who is registered at Aboriginal Affairs and their First Nation. This action will eliminate the responsibility for those status members who are under the umbrella of Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation of British Columbia who provide assistance below the poverty level. This action will eliminate poverty in the lack of funds to provide for shelter in urban centers. Each member should receive about thirty thousand dollars for the full year but, it should be negotiated to the standards of living. Status Members who live off-reserve are not fully represented by their first nations, affiliated Tribal Councils and Urban Service Delivery Providers because of favoritism.
