I am trying to get it where people can have pot belly pigs as pets in Indianapolis Indiana. I had a pot belly pig and Animal Control got called and told me that I was not allowed to keep pot belly pig as a pet. Potbelly pigs are just like dogs they are pets. We can put them on leashes and walk them like our dogs we can bathe him in the tub like our dogs they cuddle in our beds and couches. My pot belly pig has never gotten out of my yard, harmed anyone ,or any other animal. Someone else's dog jumped my fence came into my yard and attacked my pig. The dogs also killed my ducks and my chickens. I lost my pig they kept their dogs there's no reason I should have lost my pig she did nothing wrong. My pig was my kids friend they laid with her they played with her. They sit outside and pet her hand feed her and just love on her and she would return the love to them. Potbelly pigs are pets lots of people own pot belly pigs. We should be allowed to have our pot belly pig in our home if we choose to. They should have the same laws and rights as dogs and cats. Are potbelly pig gets shots goes on a leash and a harness when walking and stays in our yard. I want to change the law in Indianapolis Indiana to say we are allowed to keep our pot belly pig as a pet.
