Support for paying tribute to a lost child

The local home owners association of the Orchard Trace Community in the Sugar Creek region of Charlotte, North Carolina will not approve a ceremonial balloon release for the passing of an adolescent African American child.  The Orchard Trace community center's local summer camp and non-profit organization, Heal Charlotte, is concerned that this ceremonial act will not happen for Christian, the young boy who passed away due to a drowning incident at the community pool.  The hope is to be able to perform this ceremony to alleviate the sorrow of local community members, children from the summer camp as well as the immediate family members of Christian.
