Don’t Let Georgia Republicans Pardon Trump

Within moments of Donald Trump's indictment, Georgia Republican officials began a push for him to be pardoned (because this is a state crime, pardons come from state officials, not the president).

The good news is that Georgia, unlike most other states, doesn't allow the governor to hand out pardons like lollipops. Rather, pardons come from an official board, and they come with restrictions on scope and a waiting period. 

The bad news is that Georgia Republicans are pushing to change that to make it easier for Trump to get a pardon and avoid any punishment whatsoever.  

Don't let them get away with this.  We need to raise hell NOW, to make it as hard as possible for them to do this.
