Harper, Allow Women to Represent Their Religion by Wearing Niqab at Citzenship Ceremony!

Although the federal court has already deemed it acceptable for women to wear a Niqab at their Canadian citizenship ceremony, Harper is appealing this decision, saying that "it is offensive that someone would hide their identify at the very moment where they are committing to join the Canadian family".

As wearing a Niqab is a choice in Canada, not allowing a woman to wear a Niqab during her ceremony is robbing her of her choice in identity. Additionally, disallowing a Niqab to be worn is a basic human rights violation.

Tell Harper not to appeal this federal decision!
