Idahoans for the Legalization of Medical and Recreational Cannabis

Cannabis has been proven to be a viable treatment for Clinical Depression, General Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder, along with aiding in the shrinking of Malignant Tumors. Legalizing Cannabis has also been proven to be a viable source of Tax Revenue for states that have legalized its use (California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado). Just in 2017 alone Colorado has brought in $247,368,473 in tax dollars from selling cannabis in its state. I am a born and raised Idahoan who sees his people suffering from the Nixon era war on drugs and would like to see that come to an end. I want nothing more than to see my home state flourish and grow and to see its citizens see the treatment they deserve. This is why I am pushing to see legislation change in Idaho to make this a more welcoming place for all people to live.
