Cancel The Cruel Pig Racing Event At The Vine Great Bardfield

On August 27th, there will be a pig race held at the Vine in Great Bardfield. This will be an extremely stressful environment for the pigs, which are not natural runners, and are quiet and intelligent animals.

This is abuse, no more, no less. We should not be using animals for entertainment in the 21st century.

Not only that, but the Vine is a "gastro pub" where they will be serving up dead pigs for people to eat.

We know that public pressure like this petition can work. Two sheep races have recently been cancelled after thousands of you signed my petitions against them. We must now turn our attention to this cruel pig race.

Please sign my petition to demand that the pig race be cancelled. If enough people sign, the organisers will see that the public are not impressed by their idea of fun -- which is nothing more than animal abuse.
