Demand the end to puppy farming and the export of live puppies to Singapore to sell in pet shops

  • af: Debra Cox
  • mottagare: The Australian Government

Puppy farming is appalling as they live in squalid conditions in most instances and are cruelly treated.  Puppies are taken from their mothers at 4 weeks and the mothers are bred constantly until they have outlived their breeding usefulness.  they are then killed.  The farms are in all states.  The puppies are exported to pet shops in Singapore for sale.  This trade has to stop and the farms shut down.  The Australian Government should be involved as it is not only one state.  The animal welfare organisations have so much to cope with and they should be assisted in this matter by the Government.
